Crap From Elsewhere

  • Classy exit from Engine Yard by Ezra. When my wife and I were thinking of names for our son, she really wanted to name him Ryland. I said something akin to "No reasonable human being has ever named their son Ryland". I stand corrected. Related: I met Tom Mornini at BizConf recently in an inauspicious way. Standing outside a conference room chatting to this interesting guy, I asked him what he does. "Oh, founder of Engine Yard" said Tom. "Oh" said I, and felt like an idiot.
